Tu B’Shvat

$1.79 excluding sales taxes

A special song to celebrate the Jewish holiday by the same name, “Tu B’Shvat” which honors the “birthday” or “new year” of trees which occurs during spring in Israel when the trees bear fruit (usually mid winter in North America). On Tu B’Shvat Jews celebrate by eating native fruits from Israel (pomegranates, figs, dates, olives, etc), sing and say special prayers. In modern times, they use the day as an opportunity to reconnect with nature, and acknowledge man’s stewardship of the earth by planting trees, much like American Arbor Day.
